Madeline Proznik, 2015 graduate of Lewisville ISD’s Hebron High School, was awarded the HHS PTSA Scholarship through LEF’s scholarship program last spring.

“When looking back on receiving an LEF scholarship, it is a flashback to high school and a reminder that hard work does pay off in the end, which is a huge encouragement when struggling with challenging classes,” Proznik said.

Proznik now attends the University of Arkansas.

“Getting an LEF scholarship enabled me to take an extra class,” Proznik told LEF. “And I am able to participate in Greek life here at the University of Arkansas and join a family away from home!”

Proznik is well on her way to developing her own culture of success. She plans to attend nursing school, graduate, and move into pharmaceutical sales out of college in 2019.

LEF is honored to have a hand in her achievements, and LEF is ready to offer LISD’s 2016 graduates the same hand up: The scholarship application is open now at lisdef.com.

All LISD seniors should apply. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, January 29, 2016, at 4:30 pm.

Applicants will be notified via email in April as to the status of their application. Those selected will be invited to participate in LEF’s annual Awards Night on May 9, 2016, at Lewisville High School’s Stuver Auditorium, where benefactors will be on hand to present awards.
