LEF received exciting news — perhaps the most exciting news in LEF history!

In short, LEF comes out on top when measured against peers!

The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation, as part of a nationwide survey by an independent firm, was ranked first in its class, beating out respected foundations from across the nation and just across town. The study, performed by Florida-based dewey & associates, evaluated Education Foundations in eight areas:
1. Revenue
2. Revenue per Student
3. Assets
4. Assets per Student
5. Grant and Program Expenses
6. Grant and Program Expenses per Student
7. Investment Income
8. Volunteers
Compared to similar foundations nationwide (those with assets totaling between $500,000 and $999,999) LEF ranked number one in student impact. This study reveals what those most familiar with LEF already knew: LEF has a tremendous group of talented and committed volunteers who work effectively to enrich the quality of public education in the thirteen communities served by LISD, and who happen to be the best at what they do.

Thank you all for you continued efforts on behalf of the students and teachers of LISD. It’s your involvement as a volunteer, donor, supporter or educator that earned this award.
