Connie Pelphrey’s impact on the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation for more than 14 years led to unprecedented growth. In 2005, when Pelphrey took position at LEF, the foundation awarded $20,000 in teacher grants and $68,450 in student scholarships. After her first year, those numbers immediately improved by nearly 20 percent to a combined $106,874, and Pelphrey would continue to grow LEF from there.

To illustrate her impact during her tenure, just this year the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation awarded $100,000 in teacher grants and $225,805 in scholarships for LISD’s graduating seniors last April.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating Connie’s hard work at her retirement celebration:

Friday, Nov. 8  |  LISD Admin Boardroom (1565 Main St., Lewisville, TX)  |  3-5 PM.

As she heads into retirement, we’d like to reward her with the gift of fully endowing the teacher grant in her parents’ name – the Neal & Audrey Scheitel Memorial Grant. Thank you for helping us celebrate Connie in this way!
