Scholarships & Fellowships
The Lewisville ISD Education Foundation is pleased to be able to administer and award scholarships and fellowships to students and staff of Lewisville ISD. We continue to look for ways to increase the number of available scholarships and fellowships to meet the needs of our growing district.
Graduating Senior Scholarships
Lewisville ISD Education Foundation Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors to help them in their continued educational journey. The application deadline is the last Monday in January.
Scholarships are awarded based on specific criteria established by donor. Some donors look to recognize a student who have excelled academically or as an active community citizen, others look for students that have work hard to achieve success without being at the top of their class. Still others are awarded for specific career goals.
LEF Scholarship applications are read blindly and contain questions designed to help the scholarship readers and Scholarship Selection Committee best match students' qualifications with donor - specific criteria.
All Lewisville ISD Senior Students are eligible to apply for any scholarship that they feel they meet the criteria. Eligibility will be verified by LEF.
Teacher Fellowships
In addition to Senior Scholarships, the Foundation administers Fellowships. The Mack R. and Minnie Mae Bogard Teacher Fellowship is awarded to a Lewisville ISD classroom teacher who has demonstrated outstanding characteristics in classroom performance. The Carolyn Vines Memorial Teacher Fellowship is awarded for post-graduate education in an Education related field to a teacher who has demonstrated Leadership and community service.
The Lewisville Education Support Association Paraprofessional Fellowship is awarded to a Lewisville ISD Paraprofessional continuing their higher Education.
