LEF'S 2011 COMMUNITY REPORT HIGHLIGHTS SUCCESSES
With the new year off to a great start, we want to take a minute to look back at what was accomplished in 2011, and by “we” I mean YOU -- our donors, volunteers, and district and community partners.
It is impossible to tell all the stories and illustrate all the ways LEF has made a difference in students’ and teachers’ educations and lives.

LEF is an incredible organization of volunteers and supporters, with an incredible history of supporting student and teacher needs over the last 22 years.
LEF’s Mission is to enrich the quality of public education in the thirteen communities served by the LISD by being a vehicle for securing private funding benefiting LISD students and teachers.
Our mission includes changing children’s lives while they are students in the Lewisville ISD and helping with their continued educational journey. In 2011, more than 80 LISD teachers and counselors were able to put their ideas to work and create engaging, innovative experiences for their students with the help of LEF Teacher and Campus Grants.
One hundred eighty-five LISD graduating seniors continued their educational experience with the help of LEF scholarships awarded during our Scholarship Awards Night. Some of these students indicated that without LEF’s help they may not have been able to further their education and dreams.
LEF Board Members continue to strengthen the Foundation’s financial success. Copies of our 2010 Audit Report and 990 are available on our website for your review.
Thank you for your gestures of support - either small or grand - this past year and in the future. We are encouraged because of your support to continue to change children’s lives.
