LEF Hosts Luncheon for LISD's First Year Teachers

Prior to the start of school, LEF hosted a luncheon at the Bolin Center welcoming LISD's first year, "new-to-teaching" teachers.

Guests enjoyed a fantastic lunch from Rosa's Cafe, while Leslie Milder, Co-Founder of Friends of Texas Public Schools shared an inspirational message about the impact teachers make on students' lives.

Each teacher left with a $25 Gift card to Staples to help purchase classroom supplies.
