Once again presented by the SHW Group, LEF's Evening for Education: A Culinary Experience will spotlight 20-plus local restaurateurs and caterers showing off their culinary prowess for attendees to this year’s event.  Evening for Education: A Culinary Experience will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Lewisville located just off SH121 and I-35E in South Lewisville.

Local and renowned chef Morris Salerno will be on-hand with the Morris Salerno Show to demonstrate and prepare some of his tasty creations. Salerno has opened two restaurants, Salerno's Restaurant in Flower Mound and The Grotto in Highland Village. Salerno is involved in the Epicurean Master Chefs Society where chefs from around the world compete. In 1996, Salerno was awarded the Captain's Trophy for outstanding performance as captain of Team USA. He also earned the recognition of "Dallas Chef of the Year" by the Texas Chef Association.
