Adiyl Mir Memorial Scholarship

Flower Mound High School

FMHS student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, Co-Op student planning to attend college. A Big Brother

Alan MacMorran Scholarship

Flower Mound High School, Lewisville High School, Marcus High School

Student athlete (baseball preference) who demonstrates team spirit. Student at Marcus HS, Lewisville HS, or Flower Mound HS.

Andrew James Peck Tennis Memorial Scholarship

The Colony High School

Student with a 2.5 GPA who is a current TCHS Tennis Team member (minimum of 2 years with TCHS tennis team) and who demonstrates involvement in community and/or school activities.

BeLinda Nikkel - Heritage Elementary Hawk Scholarship

Student must have attended Heritage Elementary and be active in school and community activities.

BJ Gash Trades Memorial Scholarship

Student in Career Center classes who attended Dale Jackson Career Center or Career Center East, and who will be attending a trade school. The recipient must be a TCHS graduate or a student from another LISD high school going into a welding program.

Bluebonnet Elementary Alumni Recognition Scholarship ( B.E.A.R.S.)

Flower Mound High School

3.0 GPA, active in school and/or community activities. Must have attended Bluebonnet a minimum of 3 years, one being 5th grade.

Bob Amaro Thespian Scholarship

Awarded to a Marcus High School Theater student who is a Thespian member.

Brandon Hamm Memorial Scholarship

Lewisville High School

At least a B average, financial need, school involvement and leadership. A student who attended both Parkway Elementary and Hedrick Middle School

Briarhill Middle School PTA Scholarship

Attended Briarhill MS and must have a current family or student membership in PTA or PTSA. In keeping with the Briarhill motto (Tenacious in the pursuit of excellence). Demonstrated excellence during their high school years.

Britteny Sage Lindt Memorial Scholarship

3.0 GPA. A student who has demonstrated the most positive effect in their community and themselves through leadership and charitable activity.

Bruno John Zimmerer Memorial Scholarship

Ranked at least in top 20 students, leadership and campus participation. If all other factors are met, priority for a student majoring in an agriculture-related field.

C.L.A.S.S.-Crawford, Lomax and Stockard Scholarship

Lewisville High School, Marcus High School

Student who is going into a career in Education with a minimum 3.0 GPA (B) and SAT scores at least 600 reading, 600 math, 600 writing. Graduate of LHS or MHS.

Carl and Patsy Buck Honorary Scholarship

A student with financial need and who is active in community and school activities.

Carolyn Anne Lehwald Barth Memorial Scholarship

Lewisville High School

B average. Student must have some involvement in school or community activities and attended Lakeland Elementary.

Chad Winston Tinsley Memorial Scholarship

Priority to a qualified varsity football player with multiple years in football who demonstrates B average, leadership and community service: essay: “Every Man is the Architect of His Own Character”

Charles Emett Bolin Memorial Scholarship

Lewisville High School

Awarded to a graduating senior of LHS who was also a member of the baseball team. If applicable, preference will be given to a student who plans to play baseball in college.

Chester Boyd Honorary Scholarship

Leadership, service, at least C average. Active member of FFA, with preference for student pursuing agriculture-related career. Essay-"What my family means to me."

Clayton W. Downing Honorary Scholarship

At least a B average, campus involvement and financial need.

Clint Michael Keown Memorial Scholarship

Flower Mound High School, Marcus High School

C or better average, school and/or community involvement. MUST be a member of orchestra. Graduate of FMHS or MHS.

Colby Lee Wilson Athletic Scholarship

Awarded to the child of an LISD coach or athletic administrator of any LISD sanctioned sport. Student must demonstrate school involvement and have a letter of recommendation to address citizenship and character. Should already be accepted at an accredited college or university.

Colby Lee Wilson Debate Scholarship

Lewisville High School

School/Community activities, leadership, membership in LHS chapter of National Forensic League and regular competition in any of following events: Lincoln Douglas Debate, Student Congress, Mock Trial. Reference required from speech or debate coach.

Commercial Structures and Interiors (CSI) Scholarship

Financial need, campus and/or community involvement. Preference for major in architecture or engineering.

Corbitt Family Scholarship

Marcus HS student with > 25% class ranking and pursuing a career in a healthcare related field. If no MHS applicant, award to an LISD student meeting the above criteria.

CoServ Electric Scholarship

Flower Mound High School, Hebron High School, Marcus High School

At least a C average or above, campus and community involvement, financial need. Available to FMHS, HHS and MHS graduates.

Creek Valley Middle School PTA Scholarship

Parent must have been member of Creek Valley MS PTA and student must have attended 3 years at Creek Valley MS. Must be current member of Hebron PTSA. Active in community activities.

Dominic Pendola Memorial Scholarship

Flower Mound High School

Multiple awards available. Awarded to a Special Needs Student/Special Education Students.

Doug Killough Honorary Scholarship

Lewisville High School

Top 25% of class, financial need, active in school and/or community activities.

Dr. Clayton Downing Leadership Award

The Colony High School

A student who graduates in 2013 who has purchased a reserved parking space during the 2012-2013 school year at The Colony High School.

Eiler & Adlaine Buck Scholarship

Circle of Friends participant who is in the top 15% of their class. (Special Education major tiebreaker)

Elmo Brown Memorial Scholarship

Lewisville High School

All else equal, preference given to a Rotary Student of the Month.

Ethridge Faculty Scholarship

Top 33% class rank. Student must be a former Ethridge Elementary student.

Flower Mound Elementary Scholarship

Minimum GPA 3.0. Student must be active in school and/or community activities with emphasis on community service and activities. Eligible for student who attended Flower Mound Elementary School for at least 3 years.

Flower Mound High School Cheerleader Scholarship

Flower Mound High School

FMHS senior cheerleader in good standing who is involved in school and/or community activities, demonstrates leadership, whose parent/ legal guardian is current member of FMHS cheerleader booster club. Essay on “How has your involvement in cheerleading prepared you for college?” and 2 letters of reference from academic teachers (cannot be cheerleader coaches).

Participant in FMHS current Girl's Soccer Program (player, manager, or trainer). Parent must be a current member of the Booster Club. Reference from non-relative.

Minimum GPA 3.0, Class Rank: Top 50% Currently enrolled in JROTC or JROTC Reserves, show demonstrated leadership within JROTC, awards and community service. Same applicant cannot receive both the JROTC Academic & JROTC Community Service Scholarships.

FMHS Air Force JROTC Booster Club Community Service Scholarship

Minimum GPA 3.0. Currently enrolled in JROTC or JROTC Reserves, show highest level of community service and demonstrate your JROTC roles and awards. Same applicant cannot receive both the JROTC Academic and JROTC Community Service Scholarships.

Multiple awards available. Must be a member of FMHS Boys Soccer Team and in good standing on the final day of the soccer season. Minimum "B" average, demonstrated school and/or community involvement. Family is at least 2-year member of FMHS Boys Soccer Booster Club unless new to school in senior year (then 1-year membership is acceptable). One non-relative recommendation, submit an essay-"How have sports better prepared you for the future?"

Student in Resources from LHS. Reference required from Special Education teacher.

Greater Lewisville Lions Foundation Scholarship

Lewisville High School, Marcus High School

Multiple awards available. Priority is given to a student who is a child or grandchild of a Club member and who demonstrates participation in school or community activities.

Gregory M. Veal Science/Technology Education Scholarship

Minimum GPA 3.0 and class rank of 25%. Must be involved in school and/or community activities. Student majoring in Science or Technology Education.

Hebron Band Boosters Scholarship

Multiple awards available. Student who participated in the Hebron band and demonstrates community or school service.

Hebron High School PTSA Scholarship

Multiple awards available. 2.75 GPA. Applicant must be a current member of HHS PTSA. Higher weight given to candidates who have service to HHS PTSA or Hebron. 1 reference required. *NO references may be from family members.

Hebron Valley Elementary PTA Scholarship

Minimum GPA 3.0 Must have attended Hebron Valley Elementary, involvement in school and community activities, must be a current member of Hebron HS PTSA.

Heritage Flying Hawks Senior Scholarship

Attendance at Heritage Elementary (indicate years). Achievement best represents Heritage Mission Statement. "The mission of Heritage Ele. is to ascend toward a love of life-long learning. This will be accomplished by preparing our students to reach their highest potential as they make their flight as Heritage Hawks. On their journey positive self-esteem will be gained, individuality will be respected, and the skills for working in a changing society will be achieved. Our vision will be strengthened through the cooperation of school, home, and community. Thus the Heritage Hawks will soar to great heights in learning."
