Lewisville ISD has a long-standing tradition of excellence in education, and the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF) serves as the sole financial support organization to offer dedicated funding for LISD students and teachers. But we can’t do it alone - we need you! By investing your money and community resources with LEF, you help support that tradition of educational excellence.
Operating on donations from businesses, civic organizations, and individuals, the Foundation is a careful steward of all monies raised and works closely with LISD to ensure that funds are distributed where they’re needed most. In a district the size of LISD, that’s not an easy job!

- Annual Giving – general fund donations supporting identified needs in LISD
- Foundation Award – provides giving opportunity to honor LISD employees who impact student lives
- Planned Giving – investment option that bequeaths money/assets at the time of donor’s death
- Corporate Sponsorship – provides special event support to designated Foundation activities
- Endowment Gifts – supports scholarships and teachers grants; endowments can be full or term
- In-Kind Gifts - contributions of goods and services that are of value to the Foundation
- Matching Gifts – dollar for dollar match of monetary donation, most often available through large corporations; opportunity for donor to increase the impact of his/her gift
The Foundation has been designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the IRS.
Donations made to the foundation are tax deductible as defined by the IRS Revenue Code.
